The exhibition traces the history of the GDR Centre for Art Exhibitions (ZfK) through a selection of artworks, archival materials and historical documents. Together with art mediator Clara Gross, we delve into the subject matter and explore how the institution’s work shaped international cultural exchange and the ways in which art, ideology and politics were intertwined in the GDR.
